Sydney Opera Bar - Circular Quay Sydney Opera House
Opera Bar @ Circular Quay
Lower Concourse Level, next to the Opera House
THIS funky bar has one of the best locations in Sydney, overlooking the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
The open-air balcony sits above the harbour and has emerged in recent years as a favourite for city workers looking for a couple of “knock-off” beers.
If you’re keen to impress an outoftowner or looking for a sunny spot to sink a beer, this is the place to go.
Some of the cocktails and beer prices (the bar serves Smiddies) are more expensive than other pubs but you can’t beat the location. Good finger food and an ideal starting point if you are planning a night out in the city, with The Rocks and CBD only a short walk away, or for a before-the-show drink if you’re heading to the Opera House. Some locals knock the bar for being too touristy, but who cares. It’s a world-class location.
Opera Bar boasts the most enviable position in Sydney. Located on the lower concourse level of the Sydney Opera House, Opera Bar offers spectacular views of the Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and all the wonders of the city skyline
Whether drinking or dining, Opera Bar provides the perfect setting for any occasion and coupled with a diverse food, wine and cocktail menu it leaves you spoilt for choice – drink or dine, inside or out, day or night.
Described as ‘the best beer garden in the world’ Opera Bar is open 7 days a week from 11.30 am with live music nightly from 8.30pm and 2pm on weekends
