Rah Bar is a location rich in history and prestige. The building, originally constructed in 1862 during the gold rush era was used as the South Yarra Railway station for over half a century until it was sold to private owners. The building was later used in the mid 1900’s as a material factory after which it lay unused several decades until recently.

Fully renovated and refurbished in 2004, the site was re-designed as a private reception venue and bar, hosting some of Melbourne’s most exclusive private functions and corporate events. After popular demand, the decision has been made to launch the venue to the public – welcome to Rah Bar. All aboard!!
