24 Moons (The Modern Day Speakeasy) is a stylish underground space in the discreet playground of progressive ACDC lane (off Flinders Lane, CBD). Passionate cocktails, attentive service and a warm welcoming environment, are complimented with a visual art and performance programme.
Since its launch 24 Moons has cemented its reputation as a cultural hub in the CBD. It is at once an underground cocktail lounge, bar, and performance space – a modern day speakeasy. Its lifespan in its current location is pre-set to 2 years, or 24 Moons, after which it will reinvent itself elsewhere.

The creative programme at 24 Moons is testimony to the progressive nature of the bar. Entertainment spans from live music to theatre, from burlesque titillation to video art projections.
The music is diverse and spans a magnitude of genres. Local and international DJs provide depth and grooves Fridays and Saturdays after dark.
Eclectic performances and creative events are staged regularly, such as 'Kunst ist Scheisse' on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. 24 Moons aims to support and encourage artistic and expressive endeavours, and to make the avant-garde more accessible.
The 'moonlit-forest-at-night' design features a sophisticated blend of textures, using digital urban elements to achieve an analogue natural theme. The opulent mood and rich materials used is contrasted with moonlit forest motifs decorating the walls.
