ACTOR Shia LaBeouf may have one of his fingers amputated after his hand was crushed in a car crash with Aussie actress Isabel Lucas.
Celebrity gossip websites, including JustJared.com, report doctors have told the 22-year-old Transformers star he is likely to lose the pinky on his left hand.
Shia called producers yesterday and told them, a source on the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen said.
"It's really thrown the movie into turmoil," the mole said.
LaBeouf's left hand was crushed when his truck rolled over twice in a July 27 accident in West Hollywood, in which his Aussie co-star Lucas was a passenger.
He was arrested for suspicion of a DUI misdemeanor although police do not believe the accident was his fault.
Lucas was unhurt.

Australia’s top venues say a collective ‘cheers!’ as the finalists in the 23 categories of the Australian bar awards are announced
Sydney and Melbourne may still dominate but the finalists in this year’s bar awards show that Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and even Canberra and the Goldy are nipping at the heals of the big boys in the nightlife stakes.
Now in its 8th year, the bar awards, presented by leading trade titles, Australian Bartender and Industry magazines covers 23 categories with seven finalists in each, recognising excellence across a broad spectrum of the hospitality industry. Awards include Bar of the Year, Cocktail Bar of the Year, Nightclub of the Year, Bar Manager of the Year, Best Music Offering and Best Bar Food.
One of the most highly anticipated awards each year is the Bartender Magazine Bartender of the Year (sponsored by Club Suntory) which is decided through a rigorous three-stage competition on 16 & 17 September. A record number of more than 100 bartenders from around the country are expected to compete for top honours this year.
The list of more than 130 finalists includes some of the popular winners from last year such as Golden Monkey in Melbourne and The Lark in Brissie who took out two awards in ’07 including the hotly contested New Bar of the Year prize. There were also a lot of new bars making the list this year including the latest offering from the Merivale Group – Ivy - which was recognised in New Hotel of the Year, Best New Venue Design and Bar Manager of the Year for the efforts of drinks maestro Mike Enright.
As always, new Melbourne bars have been well represented with 1806, Seamstress/Sweatshop and Siglo (the newby above the iconic Melbourne Supperclub) all receiving nods. After struggling to get into the finals in previous years, Adelaide has really stepped up to the plate in ’08 with finalists in nearly all categories. The two venues that have often made the list - Crown & Sceptre and Apothecary 1878 – have this year been joined by Sangria in the New Bar category, The Maid in the New Hotel category and Vodka Bar in the New Nightclub category.
“The Australian bar awards began back in 2000 and have become the most celebrated awards night for the bar industry,” says David Spanton, Publisher of Australian Bartender and Industry magazines. “They are a great way for everyone to get together, pat each other on the back and celebrate the successes of the last year.”
Presented by Australian Bartender and Industry magazines, the bar awards has been described as the ‘Oscars of the bar industry’. The national awards are now in their eighth year and recognise excellence and innovation in bars, hospitality, drinks and hotels across Australia.
The Australian bar awards will be announced on Wednesday, 17 September at a gala dinner at the Hilton Ballroom in Sydney with more than 700 bar industry professionals in attendance. The awards are an important part of the busy ‘Sydney BarShow Week’ which also includes the Sydney Barshow Conference.
Finalists are selected from thousands of votes from bartenders, owners, drinks companies and other professionals associated with the trade. The winners are then selected by an independent panel of industry identities; making the Australian bar awards the most transparent and respected awards within the wider hospitality and publishing community.
Please see attached for a full list of finalists.

Official list of the 39 signs of drunkenness
BUREAUCRATS have drawn up an official list of intoxication symptoms, so pub owners can tell when patrons are drunk.
Among the 39 steps towards drunkenness are: "bumping into furniture", "sleeping at a bar or table" and "inability to find one's mouth with a glass".
The intoxication guidelines, drawn up by the New South Wales Office of Liquor and Gaming, were distributed to club and pub managers last week. Staff are supposed to use them in determining when to refuse alcohol to patrons.
Drafted in response to tough new liquor laws introduced in NSW, the guidelines also recommend that clubs and pubs provide free food and bottled water to drinkers, in a bid to curb alcohol-related violence.
Under the laws, managers are required to remove drunk patrons from the premises and stop them from re-entering for 24 hours - or face an $11,000 fine.
Number one on the list of 39 signs of intoxication is slurred words, followed by rambling or unintelligible conversation.
Bar staff are also urged to be on the lookout for patrons fumbling change, being rude, argumentative and aggressive, and those who cannot stand or who fall down.
Club patrons seen as "overly friendly" or exuberant could also soon find themselves shown the door, as will those who vomit.
If a patron fails to leave, managers have been advised to contact police in order to avoid being fined.
The department said the guidelines were drafted to help bar staff form a reasonable belief that a person is intoxicated. However, it warned that the list was neither exhaustive nor conclusive.
